The power of reviews to your business and how they can boost your sales

Do you still remember the time you saw an advert of a new application you have never heard about it?   1. Trustpilot – This is a free review site found in 2007 which is commonly used by online businesses to collect reviews from users of your products. After you have created an account with Trustpilot as a vendor, You can go ahead and submit your product or company, However, keep in mind that there are verifications required to approve your business account, Among the few, you should have at least a verifiable domain name. (You can register one here if you do not own yet), Verifiable contact details are, a verifiable website, and you can verify through a bank account from the public information. After you have activated your account, you can then invite your clients to review you anytime and every review or feedback is validated to prevent spamming and fake reviews or self-promotion by vendors You can upgrade your account to use premium features of the tool.
  2. Google Business- Google Business is the most popular way and free way to collect feedback from clients at no cost. After you have set up your profile on Google, Google will need to verify your location using their verification methods which include OTP confirmation through your mobile contact, address confirmation through your sending OTP through Poster card or where they can ask you to record a video of your business premises. Once your business profile is approved, you will have the full functionality of the tool for example collecting reviews, and the biggest advantage is, that you can directly respond to the reviews through Google map, you can message your clients and you also get to be listed in Google searches whenever person searches about your business, Google will also pilot your location so anyone can use a navigator to track your location to your premises or office😊
  3. G2.com- G2.com is both premium and free tool to use to collect genuine reviews from your clients. After you submit your product on g2.com, you will be given a free product profile where you can manage your listing and upload images, videos, screenshots and update product details. Your clients can then go on g2.com and leave a review about your product and services. However, a verifiable LinkedIn profile or business email is required for anyone to leave a review and this is only to ensure that the reviews being collected are genuine and are coming from real users. Also, g2.com is trusted that it does not post fake reviews so it is hard for any vendor to jam the game by posting fake reviews. Occasionally,  Some of your users can be invited to leave a review for a gift card which in most cases $10 Amazon gift card or you can upgrade your account and collect incentivized reviews.
  4. Gartner – Gartner makes Softwareadvice.com, getapp.com, cappterra.com and upcity.com. They provide a free listing for you to feature your product and start collecting reviews. They do however carry out identification verification to ensure that each review is submitted by a real user and occasionally they invite your clients to review your product for a gift card.
  5. Info-Tech Research GroupOften they publish business that sells software online through their review site softwarereviews.com and each review published by your client carries an incentive of $10 to your review through Sendoso.com their gift card incentive partner. You do not have to pay any single money to collect reviews, they do so at no cost.

And many more review websites like Softwaresuggest.com, and Trustradius.com.

The best way to collect reviews is by getting your review links both incentivized links and non-incentivized links and sharing them with your clients. Your clients can then go ahead and write their feedback.
