As many fintech company emerge in Uganda, Appnomu Microfinance is increasingly pitching in the market with sustainable services and products. Appnomu launched this year on 25th/07/2021 online and commenced services on 27th of the same month where clients were able to obtain loans instantly at the comfort of their smartphones, laptops and internet enabled devices.
Following the discussion with the board of directors and Company Managing director of recent, Mr. Walwasa Yahaya Mulutazah, Appnomu is going to occupy few areas of Uganda from all regions and there will be geofencing in their software to stop clients and users create accounts from areas they do not support. The supported areas include;

- Iganga District
- Busia district
- Jinja city
- Mukono District
- Namayingo
- Mayuge
- Mbale
- Soroti
- Greater kampala
- Wakiso district

This have been introduced to improve service delivery and efficiency as the company acknowledged having difficult times monitoring loans from clients especially those coming from far areas.
